Deadmau5 wants to merge AI, music, and NFTs

Remember NFTs? They were the big craze before AI. For the most part, it boiled down to buying and trading things like images, videos, and audio snippets for cryptocurrency.
With them, you get a digital receipt of ownership. NFTs dropped off just as AI was taking the world by storm, but now the latter wants to bring back the former.
Korus is an AI music platform built and launched by Deadmau5. Yes, that Deadmau5. It operates as a suite of tools for discovering, creating, and purchasing music.
The main tool is something called “Sound Mosaic.” Users can upload stem files (audio split into four channels), and an algorithm will compose a new track from those stems. From there, Korus will pay users for every new track and grant ownership, which means royalties.
Users can then purchase music as a digital collectible (NFT) with Korus’s own currency called “NOIZ.” You can earn NOIZ by selling music, of course, but also by engaging with the platform by making tracks, sharing content, etc.
Other features such as “Scenz” use AI to generate captivating visuals to accompany your tracks, which can be something as simple as an animated background to more complex creations like 3D worlds.
It’s safe to say that AI is changing the world, and when combined with tech like NFTs, it could lower the barrier to entry for becoming a successful artist. You’ll never know until you…

If you've ever spent an afternoon manually adjusting bids across four ad platforms, Synter was built for that. Tell it your goal and it builds, launches, and optimizes campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more. No babysitting. One always-on operator handling the loop you keep putting off.
