Noise-cancelling for the internet
This newsletter was brought to you byElevenLabsBrb, just questioning reality. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and AI-researcher Lex Fridman decided to show off the true potential of the Metaverse and it’s impressive to say the least. The two recorded a podcast using ultra realistic avatars, and it’s almost like they are in the same room.
Mute the Internet
Have you ever seen the movie Click? In it, Adam Sandler gets gifted a magical TV remote that can mute anyone or anything, along with other powers like rewind. Sounds cool, right? Imagine being able to mute the world.
Let's start with the Internet.Mutable is a new product built by maker Idrees Hassan that hides content across the web in an effort to save your sanity.
Idrees built it in response to an ever-increasing sense of anxiety every time he picked up his phone, and who could blame him? Information overload is real, and internet anxiety is on the rise.
“I made Mutable after realizing that my overall anxiety was notably worse every time I picked up my phone. Despite setting strict screen time limits, even just a few moments on social media was enough to feel overwhelmed.”
Mutable isn’t your run-of-the-mill app blocker. Rather than locking you out of the internet, it hides or blurs posts while you continue scrolling. Not fun enough? It can even replace posts with pics of puppies, kittens, and hedgehogs.
Mutable exists as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, and it even has an iOS app.
So we’re just… talking to software now?

ElevenLabs has been the go-to for voice for a while. Now they've turned that expertise into agents that actually get things done. You set one up, it talks like a real person, listens, responds, and helps handle the task — support calls, bookings, whatever the job is. Not a demo, not a "press 1 for sales" situation. It's ready to deploy. Feels like one of those shifts where the interface quietly changes. Less typing, less clicking, more just saying what needs to happen and letting it play out.
