I am looking for ideas on how to improve my new chrome extension Tabs Genie I released yesterday on Product Hunt https://www.producthunt.com/post.... Right now it sorts tabs in the background automatically at the frequency you desire. However I'm sure there's a lot more we can do with chrome tabs since they are so integral to our daily productivity and research habits. What suggestions do you have? Here is the chrome listing https://chrome.google.com/websto...

One thing I wish I could do with my Chrome tabs is to group them together based on a specific project or topic. It would make it easier to switch between tasks and stay organized. Right now, I have to manually sort through all my tabs and it can get pretty overwhelming. It would be great if Chrome had a built-in feature for tab grouping.

@porsha_wendy I think it does have tab grouping actually https://blog.google/products/chr.... But what if those tabs grouped automatically?

Kill a tab and then resurrect it after a fixed time. Releasing memory for now, but not forgetting to bring back the tab later

@kkumarkg so while you are not using it, it closes and then reopens later? What amount of time would it be and how would you know how to time each tab?

@drewg2009 my answers below 1. while you are not using it, it closes and then reopens later? - yes 2. What amount of time would it be and how would you know how to time each tab? - I would say user settable interval. eg. Open again in 1 hour / tomorrow, etc And when it is time to open again, you could show an alert and allow to suppress again?

@kkumarkg would be it distracting to have a bunch of tabs open while you are in the middle of a process?
