I feel it is frown upon to say that you play video games when you become an adult with a professional life.
To the gamers out here, do you proudly display yourselves as gamers or it is an hobby that you don't talk about?

Define grown up haha. I mean I'm 24 and video games have been a huge part of my life since I was 5 and will probably for the rest of my life.
And yea it's weird that games are frowned upon but watching Netflix for 4h is totally ok.
I tell people that try to make fun of me playing games: "Some people like watching a movie, I like being the main character of a movie and I can by playing games"

Video games are relatively new to society. Once the metaverse is bit more main stream, video games will become so life like and interesting that, there may be games that give something that is equivalent to what reading a good book gives you!

I used to be addicted to League of Legends and would never get bored of playing LoL for hours. Afterwards, I realized that there are more valuable activities in real life, and I stopped playing video games. I'm sure if I play LoL one more time, I'll still be addicted.🤦🏻♂️
Nowadays, playing FIFA with my friends is quite enjoyable and reduces my stress.⚽️
@arda_finsmart Yeah I think gaming can be good like any other hobbies, as long as it doesn't become a problem in your life.
Not really on display, but if it comes up in conversation I own it! Only play Asphalt Legends regularly, but, you know... will never say no to Pokémon or something now and again haha.
I think a place like Product Hunt is especially pro-game. When we launched our DIY startup school last Friday we got outvoted by that Notion Halloween game!!
