Adobe XD

An end-to-end solution for designing & prototyping

Adobe XD is a tool that eases the creation of user experiences for the web and mobile applications. It is a single app, coming with a solid set of features, to design, prototype and share. It is built to facilitate the work of today's UX designers.

Jenny Chu- Product Manager, Harris Insights
XD is extremely quick and intuitive use, with both design and prototyping integrated into one. The share option immediately creates links that enables you to just link, make comments about your prototype. It's an absolute favourite!!
John Hietter
This tool is relatively straightforward to use and allows for precise designs. It also lets you test the prototype on the computer, on a connected device (like an iPhone), or through a shareable URL.
Aaron Kazah- Software Developer and Anime Enthusiast.
This is pretty much what I use. I find I'd recommend it to any designer who wants to quickly create designs. It's also not bloated like sketch and is lightning fast.

Figma 2.0

Design and prototype in one always up to date tool

Sam Rye- Founder
Until recently, I'd been using Sketch + Craft + InVision as my core way of designing and sharing UI work with clients. But InVision always felt like it was designed by 3 or 4 teams of people who never met. Comments could be made it one view, but not another. Figma is dynamite, especially now it has prototyping baked in. I wish Figma would integrate with some of the animation tools (Principal et al), as sometimes the prototyping functionality just isn't enough.
Karthik Mahadevan- Founder and Designer at Envision
I used to mostly rely on Sketch, Marvel and Keynote for prototyping, but very recently I tried Figma and found it to be a breeze. I especially loved how easy it was for me to handover to the programmer. It's all online so sharing and collaborating was pretty easy as well.

Sketch

Vector only UI design

William Sternlicht- Dangerously Curious. Stanford '17.
Sketch has largely become the standard for iOS wire frames. There are tons of libraries and collections you can download allowing you to throw together some great looking wireframes within a few hours. It also integrates with Zepplin (zeplin.io) which makes transitioning from wireframes to code much easier for both designers and devs.
Jacopo Lupi- UX Designer @ Dollaropath
Maybe banal… I use different Sketch files for different icons. Same file and different pages for sets or iterations of the same icon.
Felipe Tinoco- Product Specialist @Oath
Perfect for it ;)
