About

I build tools that do not ask you to take software's word for it. CIFix watches your CI pipeline and opens a deterministic fix pull request the moment a build breaks. No AI guessing, no repository cloning, green again in seconds. Bump takes the opposite route to the same place. It drafts follow-ups for the emails nobody answered, but writes each one three times independently and stamps the result with whether its own checks agreed, so you know which drafts to read properly before sending. Nothing is ever sent without your click. One avoids the guessing. One admits to it. Both exist because confident software that turns out to be wrong is expensive. Previously built data platforms and backend systems at scale.

CIFix - CI breaks. You get a fix PR. No AI.

CIFix watches GitHub Actions and opens a fix PR when your build fails. No AI — deterministic pattern matching. How it works: 1. CI fails 2. Logs matched against 94 known error patterns 3. Fix PR opens via Git Data API in <30s 4. CI re-runs and passes Covers: env vars, Node version, lockfile drift, Docker, Python, GitHub Actions, auth, cache. Never clones your repo. Never sees secret values. Free: 3 repos, 10 fixes/month. No credit card.

Do you actually lose time to repetitive CI failures?

Curious how other devs handle this: missing env vars, wrong Node version, lockfile mismatch the same CI errors that keep coming back across repos.

I've been thinking about whether pattern matching (not AI) could just auto-fix these. Same error same fix open a PR automatically.

Questions:

  • How much time do you actually lose to CI debugging per week?

  • Would you trust an automated fix PR from a bot?

  • What's the most annoying CI error you keep seeing?
