Interesting - what are some examples of things you can tweak as a user? How much is controlled by human vs algo?

The Weave team had a a bit of fun these past weeks putting together a project to analyze your networking progress the past year. I'm currently ranked 8. I'm sure that's gonna decrease as more ProductHunters jump on. :) Here's my report: https://weave.in/networking-report/F1by2SLy# We think you’ll have fun analyzing your own network. Give it a try and share how you rank + what you think.

Congrats @Manasvinik! Love when people are thinking about this space. We've been working on this problem for the past 6 months or so. (https://www.producthunt.com/tech/weave-concierge) Happy to share insights and would love to grab coffee to chat more if you're interested. Some interesting things we've found: - The hardest part is getting people to a real life meeting. We've had to develop lots...

Hey Product Hunters, Today, we're announcing the launch of Concierge - our experiment to completely automate your professional networking. We launched Weave (http://www.producthunt.com/posts/weave) about a year ago and continue to hear about success stories everyday - people find jobs, raise money, discover new clients, etc. However after a year of watching and listening to our users (hopefully...

Thanks Ryan! PH community, Weave just added the ability for exclusive communities to meet each other in real life, tinder-style. You really can't find any community more awesome (and exclusive) as Product Hunt. If you're interested in meeting other ProductHunters in real life, wherever you go, use the invite code "KITTY" to join. We've already onboarded YCombinator founders, 500 startups,...

Congrats @calc - happy to see more people innovating in the space. Looking forward to playing with the app more. (Looks like everyone has to wait for approval?). How do you review people after just capturing their email?

Great job getting it out @ntaneja1, site is slick. Just signed up, looking forward to seeing my matches. We've thought about limiting connections as well at Weave, but it's slightly less applicable given the real-time use case - seeing quite a few people use Weave during events and while out and about.

I get at least an email a day forwarded to me to check it out so I've definitely played with it. :) Very similar, when I tried it they had issues matching (my team all swiped connect on each other and didn't match). Also think it's sub-optimal that a match just connects you on LinkedIn, there's something not right about that since I try to keep all my LinkedIn contacts to people that I've...

Played around with it yesterday. Interesting concept, looks like they put quite a bit of focus on trips and reconnection (I'm going to NYC for a conference and want to reconnect with people I know). It caters to a very different scenario: > NextSociety - See your linkedin connections you should reconnect with based on specific tags "startups, healthcare, etc". > Weave - Network and meet with...

Haha, yeah - this is exactly how we started at Decide.com. Prices changing all the time is a very real problem. I think one of the biggest learning we had at Decide is that people's desire to 'impulse shop' usually is much stronger than their willingness to wait, on items where the price movements aren't as drastic.

Thanks @AlokVasudev. Haha, right? I downloaded Tinder to study it and my wife was like "uh...". But then she downloaded too. Let me know how Weave works for you.
