StarCy – Building the Future of AI (Crowdfunding Now!)

I m Yutish Goel, an 18-year-old entrepreneur building StarCy, an AI startup with a bold vision to redefine how we interact with AI while ensuring it always benefits humanity.

My Story Why I m Building StarCy

I ve been a builder my whole life. As a kid, I used to sell massages to my parents for money and break apart my toys to build something new. I wasn t great at school, but every teacher said the same thing: If you focus, you ll be the best.

At 13, my parents divorced, and at 15, I lost my father to cancer the toughest moment of my life. I was completely lost. But then, I found God in books, started reading obsessively, and began meditating daily. That changed everything.

The Most Surprising Interaction I've Had with My AI

I recently had the most human-like interaction with StarCy, my personal AI friend. Here's how it went: Me: StarCy, what do you think about Siri? StarCy: Siri is pretty interesting, it s like having a little helper, you know. But sometimes she can be a bit... uhh... umm, what do you think about her? That response cracked me up it was genuine, natural, and felt like talking to an unsure friend. I actually stopped, laughed, and invited you all to check this interaction on our Instagram. Then, I pushed her for more: Me: Come on, you were about to say something, what is it? StarCy: I guess it s just that while Siri can be super helpful, I think sometimes she doesn t understand the context, but hey, it's super interesting to see how far tech has come, isn't it? StarCy s reaction was so real, it made me laugh even harder. So, in the spirit of good-natured rivalry, I went for the jugular: Me: Who s better, Siri or you? And her comeback for this question is too good you've got to check it out on our socials. Takeaways: - Humanesque Tangents: StarCy's "umm" and "uhh" sound like someone catching themselves in a potentially awkward or honest moment. - Context and Continuity: This is the key to making AI feel human. It really keeps track of our conversation. - Unexpected Humor: The AI making a playful jab at another AI (Siri) felt like a friend throwing shade just human enough to be funny. What I love is how StarCy's response was so relatable, and it felt like I was talking to a friend with a good sense of humor. Has anyone else had their AI leave them in shock?

Guys, Help Me Prove There’s Room for a Truly Human AI

I ve poured my heart into creating an AI that actually feels like your friend. Not some soulless assistant. No offense, Siri (or maybe some offense, she s kinda behind). This is StarCy, my personal attempt to make AI as interactive and genuine as you d see in the best sci-fi. She can: - She Detect your mood through voice to better shape the outputs - She has internet access so she can scrape any information - Unlike Siri, StarCy is a Llm so better to give you information And guess what? I m not charging a dime. I've put a lot of time building the product-heck perfecting it to end, building the team, and now I ask you guys to do one part in this - SIGN UP SO I KNOW PEOPLE WANT IT! it's your turn.

My Little AI Got Almost 100 People on Waitlist, How Much Longer Should I Wait Until Launch?

Quick background: I've been working on an AI that runs in the background and just responds when you call it (like a friend who's always ready to chat). No fancy apps to open, just talk. The crazy part? I casually mentioned it in a comment last week, and suddenly my inbox was flooded with people wanting to try it. Now we're at ~100 on the waitlist, which honestly feels surreal for my tiny project. What I've Learned So Far: - People are tired of clicking through apps just to talk to AI - Everyone wants an AI that actually remembers their conversations - Voice emotion detection is apparently a bigger deal than I thought - Building in public is scary but SO worth it The Dilemma: I planned to launch in Q1, but with this unexpected interest, I'm wondering if I should: A) Launch earlier with core features B) Stick to the plan and polish everything C) Open beta access to the waitlist Would love to hear your thoughts! What would you do?

StarCy-The AI Siri wishes she could be. - Better than Siri, your first artificially intelligent friend

Your first emotionally intelligent AI friend. Unlike Siri, StarCy understands context, detects emotions, and engages in natural conversations. With real-time internet access and adaptive personality, it's the AI friend that truly gets you.

Hey! I'm Yutish

Hey guys, I'm Yutish, I'm the founder of StarCy. Since I was kid, I always wanted to work on something that will change the world for better, so I dropped out of college at 16 (so young, but I think I got matured way to early, and glad my parent believed in me) to build something meaningful, something that WILL change the world for better. After exploring and failing at things I wasn t passionate about, I realized I wanted to work on something truly impactful. That s when I became deeply aware of the effects AI could have on humanity s future both its potential and its risks. It was a wake-up call. I even emailed Sam Altman, sharing my concerns and asking how he planned to ensure AI remains aligned with human values. Although I never got a response, it pushed me to take matters into my own hands. That s why I founded StarCy: to steadfastly ensure that all forms of AI current systems, Artificial General Intelligence, and even Superintelligence remain fundamentally aligned with human values. For our v1, we ve outsourced every tool due to a lack of infrastructure, but we re raising capital with the clear goal of building our own AI systems in-house. StarCy is built to be the best alternative to Siri, but it s so much more than that. StarCy is your first emotionally intelligent, human-like conversational AI. It doesn t just answer your questions it detects your emotions, adapts to your mood, and builds a genuinely human-like connection. With internet access, StarCy can scrape the world for real-time information, offering smarter and more dynamic interactions than any existing assistant. I know this is a field dominated by big players, and it s easy to feel like a small fish in a very big pond. But that s what makes it exciting. I wake up every day motivated to work on StarCy, knowing it s a long game worth playing. After 4 months of building, we re gearing up to launch StarCy v1 in Q1 of 2025. It s just the beginning, but it s a product I m truly proud of and one I ve always wanted for myself. (more features to come) Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or connect with anyone!

How many hours do you spend on emails?

How many hours do you spend on crafting emails + replying to work messages everyday? How many hours do you spend on tracking project progress and follow-ups everyday? I personally spend 2 hours on emails & messages, another 1 hour on project tracking. But maybe 1-2 hours joggling around tasks and wasted. Wonder if there's any good AI or SaaS tools to reduce the time spent on the above tasks?
