When we first used the ezhire service, we registered with one set of bank details. Later on, we requested for that bank account to be deleted, as we were switching to a new one. They repeatedly told us to remove the old account through the app. I followed their instructions and successfully removed the old bank account — only the new one remained visible in the system. We specifically asked them if the old bank details were completely removed from their records, and they confirmed with a clear YES, stating it was permanently deleted. However, to our shock, a fine was recently charged to the old bank account — the very one they claimed was deleted and no longer in their system. This transaction happened without our knowledge or permission. This is a serious violation of trust and raises major concerns about data privacy. It proves that ezhire still keeps sensitive bank information even after confirming its deletion. ezhire is not safe. They store bank details without consent, even after deletion requests. This is unacceptable. We demand accountability and immediate action to prevent this from happening to others.
