Every SaaS needs an auth solution, and it is extremely difficult to build a robust and smooth auth flow from scratch on your own. There are many providers on the market, auth0, okta, to name a few. However, most of them are proprietary and your data would be at risk due to vendor lock-in.
Logto offers you an open source solution if you want more control, or you can adopt the Logto cloud if you are not a senior SRE engineer, which is perfect for different teams on different scenarios.
For me, I built my own product, initially with a home-made auth flow and then spent a lot of time migrating to Logto. I have never regretted my decision as it saves me worrying about the intricacies of the boring auth and provides everything I need for a smooth and robust auth flow.
