Nice polished side project :). I always found products in this space to be a bit of a paradox considering the audience, i.e. people who need help changing their behavior, so get them to change their app-using behavior in order to change other behaviors. Reframed..."How might we lighten the paradox of requiring app-usage behavior in order to succeed changing other behaviors?" For instance, once...

Blakbits is a little project I spun up coming out of an inside joke with other designers about wearing black shirts. Aside of the memes, I started dissecting the "why" of black shirts, and figuratively speaking, wanted to try "reinventing the wheel". The result is the most subtle black shirt design, meant for people I hold dear, makers.

Just going to mention it since no one else has yet... please... please.. solve end to end app development, i.e. the data. I'm sure there's plenty of ways to attack this problem, but even if it was just reading end points of an API and being able to read/send... that would be amazing.

It must be amazing to work at Google and come up with names for your products. We all sit here, putting in hours of research, thesaurusing, mood boarding, and domain availability searching for a name that's passably sensical. At Google, people be like "We're making a tool to hire people, what should we call it?". "How about Hire". "GENIUS!".

Just a heads up, it only hooks up your checking card. No credit cards (i.e. no points). I think it would be useful to make that clear up front before asking for people's personal info.

I agree with all the pricing comments. I think if you approach it from the functional angle, there's an argument to charge 100+/month. But as many of the comments point out, if you approach it from the "who are you targeting to actually pay for it" angle, the 100/month doesn't feel great. This is squarely targeted at coding-as-a-2nd/3rd-discipline people (primarily designers), in an indie use...

IMO, buying an incredibly crappy TV for the sake of having a 4" dongle inside vs outside on the hdmi port is not worth it. Element has a horrible track record on both overall image quality as well as reliability.
