I rebuilt an online developer tools site based on it-tools — looking for feedback

Hi everyone,

I m a developer and long-time user of it-tools. Over time, I started experimenting with some changes and improvements that better fit my own workflow, and that gradually grew into a separate project called next-tools.

Why I started next-tools based on it-tools

next-tools started as a personal extension of it-tools.

I ve been a long-time user of it-tools and really appreciate the idea of having a simple, all-in-one online toolbox for developers.

While using it in daily work, I began experimenting with some changes and improvements that better fit my own needs such as a more modern UI, deeper multilingual support, and incremental refinements to existing tools.

Over time, this experiment grew into next-tools: a fork focused on modern UI, real i18n across all tools, bug fixes, and continuous evolution with new utilities.

What makes a good developer tools website for you?

When you use an online developer tools website, what matters most to you?

- UI / UX

- Speed

- Privacy (no data storage)

What tools do you use most on sites like it-tools?

I m curious how people actually use developer tool sites in real workflows.

Which tools do you personally use the most?

JSON formatter, UUID generator, cron tools, encoding tools, or something else?

This will help decide which tools to improve and which new ones to add next.
