Product launched 5 days ago, 15 downloads so far(my app has 14 days free trial), no sales yet, but one user reached out and reported bugs as well as gave suggestions. I fixed it and deployed the updated app, but during these 5 days I keep binge checking my product hunt notifications, business email, reddit notifications, as well as site analytics. I know this behavior is unpractical since my app has 14 days of trial and it's only been 5 days, but I can't stop checking and end up wasting the whole day. Has anyone been through this stage?
Should I:
stop checking that often
don't check how many sales you have, just check the emails for app bug reports or reviews
work on other projects
find somewhere else to monetize(like youtube shorts and instagram reels)
check emails only, only check analytics after 14 days
Are you totally against sharing your personal data to companies? or are you neutral and think your info doesn't matter that much? Not just words from dictation apps, but other personal details like schedules from a productivity app, or computer details from coding agents. Asking this cause I personally don't mind my app data being sent to companies, as long as they're not passwords, or important personal info. But this brings us to another question, where is the line?
If so, what apps do yall use, and what is the number one feature you wish was there, or what s the most annoying pain point when using these dictation apps? Appreciate any feedback, and I m considering giving people lifetime access to my app if they contribute their ideas, guys let s work together to make the best local dictation app out there.
