Engineer living in Zushi, Where Community Breathes Actively
Hi, I am Wataru.
I'm living in Zushi, a coastal town in Japan. I've visited more than 40 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia, but I chose to settle here three years ago because I love this place.
The town is surrounded by the sea and mountains, and it's easy to travel by foot or bike. During warm seasons, festivals and events happen almost every weekend. There's a very active community around local events, traditional taiko drumming and mikoshi celebrations. I participate in these, and it gives me a constant sense of connection. The people here have created a lifestyle where they genuinely take care of themselves and each other. They have real peace of mind. They're pleasant to be around.
But I think people everywhere especially in places like Silicon Valley are tired. AI has created massive numbers of products, but they all feel cold and corporate. People are exhausted by this kind of world, maybe?
I'm building an AI map and guide with hidden places and local knowledge in my town even locals don't know some of it. It's not complicated technology, but I want to help visitors connect with our community. I can give advice before your visit, during your stay, and after you leave in at the right time. Hybrid aproach with AI and human. If timing allows, I'd like to carry a mikoshi with you!
