I like building software and learning about it. Didn't finish college; self taught since 12 years old. Been building mostly web applications. Not Google or Facebook scale applications but most apps will never need that scale; the hype and fear mongering in tutorials and interview prep for sCaLaBiLiTy is unhelpful and misleading ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Been learning about syscalls in Linux, BSD and OSX as well, design patterns used in game dev like ECS, and experimenting with manual memory management in Go using arena allocators and such like. Came across product hunt a few months ago. Seems like an interesting way to tell others about what you built so trying it out. I know that a lot of people use it to pitch and get VC funding but I'm not really interested in that. At least not right now.
