What's great

I’ve been using Lex for a few months, mostly for drafting articles and notes. What I really like is how clean and distraction-free it feels - it helps me stay focused on writing instead of fiddling with formatting. The interface is super minimal, and everything runs smoothly.

Lex just felt simpler and cleaner than most writing tools I’ve tried. I didn’t want something overloaded with menus and distractions - I just needed a quiet space to write that still gives me smart AI help when I need it. Lex strikes a really nice balance between minimalism and usefulness. I also liked how responsive the team is and how fast the app keeps improving.

Grammarly

What's great

i’ve been using Grammarly for a while now, and overall it’s a solid tool. It catches most grammar and spelling mistakes and often helps me phrase things more clearly. The interface is clean and easy to use, and it works well both in the browser and in the app..

That said, some of its style suggestions can feel a bit off, especially when I’m writing something more creative or informal. I also wish some of the premium features were included in the free version.

Still, it’s definitely improved how I write in English and saves me time when I’m drafting emails or documents. Not perfect, but it does its job really well.

vs Alternatives

i chose Grammarly because it felt like the most complete option out there. I tried a couple of other grammar checkers before, but Grammarly’s interface was cleaner and the feedback made more sense. I also liked that it works across browsers and apps, so I can use it for emails, documents, and even quick messages. It just fits into my workflow without getting in the way..
