I’m an AI researcher, professor, and entrepreneur passionate about building applied machine learning systems that make the world better—combining deep research with real-world impact. Currently, I’m a Professor and AI Researcher at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where I lead projects on transformers, multimodal learning, graph-based generative models, and explainability. My academic work has been published in CVPR, MICCAI, and MIA, including projects such as VesselGPT (autoregressive vascular geometry modeling) and VisDecode, which uses LLMs to decode and refine graph structures. I’m also CTO of BioMakers, a biotech company operating in the U.S., Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, where we integrate foundation models with molecular and clinical data to improve cancer diagnostics.
