So many of the 'marketing tips' I see on the internet are from self-proclaimed "gurus" on a 'take my word for it' basis. Not to say that they are always wrong, but it does feel like the evidence used to support their tips is purely anecdotal (their personal experience), which may not be applicable to many (or most) cases. Cool to see a newsletter that shares insights rooted in academic research...
