Vinay Setty's research area broadly encompasses NLP, information retrieval and deep neural networks for language technologies. He specializes in automated fact-checking, question answering, and conversational search. Currently, Vinay is dedicating a significant amount of his time to his startup, Factiverse with the mission to make credible information more accessible. He also won the 2020 SR Bank Innovation prize for commercializing neural network technology for fake news detection.
