I found out about Venice AI after the project airdropped a large amount to the community, and I was instantly hooked. Even though I had to buy into the project to get access to the API, I found their pricing model interesting. Instead of pay-per-request pricing, they use a staking mechanism with their VVV token. By staking tokens, you receive proportional access to computing power. For me personally, this product is a win-win-win. I use many AI tools and also speculate in crypto. Now, I get access to the API with predictable costs, without having to pay large amounts monthly to services like OpenAI. At the same time, the web platform functions like any other service with a chat interface, offering a selection of different models. It provides direct access to (unrestricted) image creation, and I earn tokens daily thanks to the staking mechanism. Even if the token value doesn’t increase, it’s still a win because of the AI functionality, which I would have to pay for anyway.
