I worked with SlashDev on a client project where I dedicated nearly 200 documented hours over several months. Only one month (July) was ever paid, while the months of May, June, and August went completely unpaid. The agency later claimed there were “bugs” as a reason for termination, but no unresolved bugs were ever communicated to me, and all tickets were cleared before the project was ended. Instead of resolving payment fairly, they removed me from the project repositories and the time tracking system to erase my records. Fortunately, I had already saved evidence of my logged hours. Working with them turned into a one-sided arrangement where they used my time and effort without fair compensation. Communication was poor, accountability was absent, and they left me with unpaid wages.
