I built Surtr because I kept running into the same frustrations with existing Windows automation tools. Scripts I wrote would break the moment an app updated, a window resized, or I switched to a different screen resolution. Coordinate-based clicks are just too fragile for real-world use. I also hated juggling multiple tools—one for macros, another for image recognition, something else for web...
