About

I’m building Verdic Guard to address a common problem in production AI: LLMs perform well in demos but often drift when used across long, real-world workflows. Most teams rely on prompt tuning, retries, or post-hoc monitoring. These help, but they don’t clearly define or enforce what an AI system is actually allowed to do. Verdic Guard takes a different approach—treating AI output reliability as an engineering and validation problem. It focuses on defining intent and constraints upfront, then validating outputs before they reach users or critical systems. The goal is to help teams build AI systems that are predictable, auditable, and trustworthy, especially in high-risk or regulated environments.

Launching Verdic Guard — Keep LLM outputs aligned and hallucination-free

Prompt engineering works in demos but breaks in production. As LLM workflows get longer and more complex, outputs drift, hallucinate, or violate intent in ways prompts and retries can t reliably prevent.

Verdic Guard (https://www.verdic.dev/ )adds a runtime validation and enforcement layer between the LLM and your application. Every output is checked before it reaches users against defined scope, contracts, and constraints so behavior stays predictable and auditable.

It s not a model or a prompt library. It s trust infrastructure for LLMs: built to prevent hallucinations, enforce intent, and make AI outputs defensible in real systems.

We re launching today and would love feedback from teams running LLMs in production:

How are you enforcing intent and scope for LLM outputs in production?

We re launching Verdic today (verdic.dev) after repeatedly seeing prompt engineering break down in real production workflows LLMs drift, hallucinate, or violate scope as systems get more complex.

Verdic adds a runtime validation and enforcement layer that checks outputs before they reach users, keeping AI aligned with defined intent and contracts.

Curious how others here handle this today:

  • Prompts only?

  • Monitoring after the fact?

  • Runtime enforcement?
