What's great
I’ve been following Get BOB for a while on LinkedIn, so I was curious to try it in a real scenario. My wife runs a small interior architecture practice on her own ( https://dibla.com/professionals/nie-architects-sofiya ), which means besides designing she also has to her Instagram and Facebook pages, email, her website, and a couple architecture platforms where her work is listed.
We configured a few BOBs to monitor those channels, notifying her if a comment or message actually looks like a potential client. Every couple of weeks she gets a short summary with potential leads, fully researched and with tailored outreach suggestions. Job well done!
What needs improvement
From my wife's use case this is perfect already. For me, which I am more technically inclined, would like to have a cli interface to monitor/control/query the Bobs!
vs Alternatives
Other options like OpenClaw are too technical for her setup, will require setting up dedicated computer, monitoring the wifi/connectivity issues, also periodic updgrades. The setup is also technical still. I will do it for my own experminetation, but for a ready and simple solution Bobs are best!
Claude Cowork is also not there in terms of usefulness. Can do probably the same job, but not as easy to setup with all the Faacebook and website monitoring. While in Bob it is just a click.
