Witnessing the antiquated banking system contrasted with Web3's potential, I craved change. We envisioned a world where sending money bypassed banks and hefty fees like Western Union. This dream led to a fee-free, peer-to-peer money transfer system. Over two years, we tested it in the market, generating $500,000 in traction. Further frustration arose with India's complex crypto exchanges. Users deserved a simpler platform. Urbned is our answer, bridging the gap between traditional finance and Web3's possibilities.
