Vaibhav (or Vaib, as friends call him), an entrepreneur-turned-academic-turned-entrepreneur, loves to travel but always found trip planning time-consuming. Travel agents help, but often recommend attractions based on their own preferences. After facing this repeatedly—and especially while planning a 2024 Kilimanjaro hike—he asked, "If AI can automate so many things, why not travel planning?" At 5,895m atop Mount Kilimanjaro, the idea for Packy AI was born. With his research background and passion for tech, Vaib began testing user behavior and travel needs. Soon, he formed a skilled engineering team. Under his leadership, Packy AI is on a mission to make travel planning fast, smart, and stress-free—built for travelers who value time and personalization.
