I have typically been against using Beats headphone as I felt they were expensive for what you got. After getting a pair for free I can say that the audio quality is better than most headphones that I've owned and that the overall value is probably worth the price. Pros: Lightweight. Charge quickly. Good sound. Comfortable. Cons: A bit expensive. Requires an iPhone charging cable.

I can see using this for my daughter who loves to sing. I agree it's pretty pricey for everyday use, but I can see spending $4 here and there.
