Serverless Workflow Specification is a CNCF Sandbox Project. With so many existing container-based workflow/pipeline solutions in place, each with its own proprietary workflow models it is really hard to move your applications from one cloud-provider to another. This specification defines a vendor-neutral and portable workflow model to help orchestrate event-driven, serverless applications.
