We originally launched Awaiting during the COVID pandemic and saw some impressive adoption of businesses dealing with social distancing. While the app is super simple (and doesn't work for all business scenarios), it's trivial to use and operate—something we're quite proud of keeping. I'm happy to answer any questions you have on the creation process! (Which was only 3 weeks)

At Vaporware, we're huge fans of Courier. We're constantly developing MVPs and iterating quickly, and a full-fledged Notification system where developers just send data events (or better yet, just use segment events) and product managers can quickly iterate on design and content for email and SMS channels has been huge. Doing all of that in 30 minutes takes us from 0 to hero for our startups....

coding content needs context -- thats why stackoverflow's system works Pros: it's focused on content only Cons: but this is where content goes to die

Is this servicehunt.com? Sure, it's fixed fee -- but it's still a service, not a product. I vote that these landing pages be filtered out of Product Hunt. Also, why should someone "apply" to pay $15,000. That's not how our industry works -- and is going to give it a bad rep. It's like applying to a startup incubator that gives you a shitty equity deal. In general, this sounds like you're...

Gave this a shot today -- it's still a bit buggy (the angular errors out a lot when moving around the dashboard). Tried the automation a bit -- it's testable but very buggy. It's also not intuitive on how to send that out to your visitors. Overall it's a nice idea, but the execution is lacking a bit. It would be nicer to imbed the messenger into the site (like intercom) instead of popping out...

I would prefer to not pay for another user. And to have a channel based bot just for notifications
