Very compelling product, @ethan_anderson. It's really a divergence of the popularization of push-button mobile experiences (i.e. push "Request ride" in Uber, get a car) and a new lack of interest among younger folks to actually call people on the phone. Businesses don't know how many customers they're actually losing until they begin using products like this and see the influx themselves.

Just bought one of these about a week ago and can say it's one of the cheapest, quickest ways to make espresso. And unlike a French press or Moka pot it's super quick and easy to clean. Highly recommended.

This transition has definitely been a bit scary for a Foursquare power-user like myself, but I think it's for the best. I'm just the kind of user Dennis described in a recent interview -- whenever I opened Foursquare in the past it was for ONE use-case, the check-in or recommendations, but not both. If splitting the apps apart makes both experiences better, then so be it. The only thing I'm sad...

I just can't justify the price of using on-demand laundry services like this and Washio. My arms work and washing clothing myself really don't taste that much time.

I've ordered a couple Livblend smoothies through Spoonrocket in the past. Very delicious! A bit expensive, but delicious.

I think I'll stick with the glyphicons included in Bootstrap for now but I'm definitely saving this for later!

Sounds like a good way to cheat on homework. Another would be mathway.com, which allows you to input problems from algebra, geometry, and many other fields of math and get a response with steps back immediately.

I definitely need something like this -- reminds me of Picturelife's goal of making all our images more searchable but for a much wider span of our data. Also I've tweeted 32,000 times and want a better way to sift through it than Twitter's CSV export. :p

Maybe the link should be to the desktop version of the site? @rrhoover Also this looks like it's pretty much the same thing as Kitchensurfing. Not that there can't be more than one company doing this, but I don't think personal chefs cooking for you is a large market in particular.

@joelandren this (kind of) solves the complaint that TC reporters had last week about that site that offered email addresses. Awesome job. :)

Saw the episode of Small Empires on this company awhile back -- already can think of a couple people off the top of my head that I'm sure would consider becoming chefs here!

This is freakin' cool! The first thing that came to my mind when I saw that the @ symbol initiates point is that this could be a super fast way to @reply friends on Twitter the link to a webpage. Right now you have to dig for a share button, if there even is one on the page, and then edit out the title or whatever else the website adds and try and fit handles in. Just imagine if Point stripped...

The new Secret website reminds me a lot of Vine's browsable web experience. Great for when I'm at my desk and want to take a quick break and consume some digestible bits of gossip/humor. I look at Secret as less of a communication platform and more as another medium for expressing oneself, not unlike Medium or Tumblr or YouTube, etc. I think initially a lot of people expected it to just be used...
