📢 When did you discover Product Hunt — and what changed after?

Hey everyone!

I first discovered Product Hunt back in February, and since then it s been my go-to place for hunting the latest launches for my company. Infact, we just launched Engagi an AI app that helps content creators, business owners, and marketers engage on social platforms completely on autopilot!

Being here has been incredibly valuable. I ve stayed ahead of the game by seeing what tech companies are dropping every single day, and I ve learned so much from the community s feedback and insights. Huge shoutout to the Product Hunt team for building such an amazing platform!

I d love to hear from you:

😤 Tired of staying glued to your social handles?

We got you!
That s why we built Engagi your AI-powered social media engagement assistant that handles conversations like a pro, even when you're offline.

Just launched on Product Hunt!

Your Search Ends. Productivity Begins.

We ve all been there scrolling through Slack, digging through Google Docs, or opening that dusty Notepad file for the 47th time to find the same line you always send: a pitch, an intro, a reply.

It s time to stop.

With Slashit App, you don t need to search anymore.

Save your common messages as Dynamic Templates

Release: June 22, 2025 // Language Bugs & YouTube Shorts

Last week, we continued making progress on two major features: improved search and chat with your full knowledge base. These are large updates that will take approximately 3 4 weeks to roll out fully. We ve also begun development on a markdown file import feature, which will make it easier to migrate notes from tools like Notion and Obsidian.

Why keep copying from Notepad when smart shortcuts can do it better?

We all have messages we send over and over:

Intros. Follow-ups. Support replies. Status updates.

A lot of us still manage this by copying from Notepad or saved docs.

But let s be honest it s messy, slow, and not scalable.

Still copy-pasting from Notepad every time?

We all have a few messages we send again and again intros, follow-ups, replies.

AI is everywhere...what’s one thing it still can’t do right?

I work with startup teams and use AI tools almost every day for writing, research, support, and more. It saves a lot of time, no doubt. But there are still things AI just can t do well.

For example, when reading customer feedback, AI often misses the real meaning behind the words, like when someone sounds polite but is actually unhappy. Or when making product decisions, AI can list pros and cons, but it doesn t really understand the bigger picture or timing like a human would.

How do you keep your startup team motivated when money runs out?

Keeping a startup team motivated without money is one of the hardest challenges I ve faced, harder than growth or sales.

I ve worked on a few SaaS products with let s just say, not-ideal budgets. And honestly, the hardest part wasn t traction. It was morale.

Why are you NOT using Raycast?

About 4 months ago, I asked for beginner tips on Raycast so that I could start trying it out. I'd heard some people talk about how helpful it was, but just downloading it, I didn't really know where to start or how to get the most out of it.

Well, 4 months later, it is an integral part of my workflow now. I'd actually say it's one of the most impactful apps I use (the other being @Aqua Voice) in terms of really improving my overall work. I use it now for so many things every day, and I've gotten it set up to be incredibly fast and efficient for what I need. I think I would feel very slow and disorganized going back to not using it.

YC partners launch Standard Capital — is the “AI-native Series A accelerator” the new Seed?

This news caught my eye today: that two Y Combinator partners, Dalton Caldwell (25 batches, 1 K+ startups coached) and Paul Buchheit (the Gmail guy), leave YC (the accelerator behind Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox) to spin up Standard Capital.

Here s what they re offering

  • Write $5-10 million cheques for about 10 % of a company.

  • Step in after seed money but before the usual Series A.

  • Back teams who can build and improve AI products super fast.

  • YC itself is putting money into the fund.

Have you ever pivoted your business / idea? 💡

Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.

Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

How are EU tech regulations affecting small builders?

Lately, I have been following how Meta and TikTok are challenging the EU s new Digital Services Act fees, saying they re vague, unfair, and possibly even based on double-counted user data. It s only 0.05% of global revenue, but if the biggest platforms are struggling to make sense of the rules, what about indie makers like us?

As someone who s helped launch multiple products in the EU, I get the goal: safer, more accountable platforms. That s important.
