🎯 What are modern marketing approaches that work?

Making a product is one big challenge. But shifting your mindset from building to marketing it might be an even bigger one.
As makers, we spend so much time improving the product. Then comes the question: How do we get people to discover it - and ultimately turn that attention into real customers and sales?
I'm not sure traditional approaches like email marketing and constantly posting on social media are enough anymore. The way people discover products is changing.
So I'm curious:

How do you approach marketing your product?
And for the marketers here:
What would you consider a modern marketing approach in 2026-2027? What would you advise an early-stage founder to focus on?
I'd love to hear different perspectives...

Which tools would you recommend for smoother streaming in a new Android application?

I ve recently launched an Android application and I m working on improving the streaming experience. I m particularly interested in reducing buffering and handling different network speeds more efficiently.

For developers who have worked on video-based apps, which tools or services would you recommend for adaptive bitrate streaming, CDN delivery, video encoding, and performance monitoring? I d like to choose a setup that can remain reliable as the user base grows.

💬 What was your last conversation with AI?

What s in the recent tab of your AI conversations?
Doesn t matter if it s about work, coding, planning, writing, or something completely random...

Just curious what everyone is actually talking to AI about =D

Mine was about applying late to Y Combinator for Fall 2026.

To be honest, I posted the question in p/yc and got rejected there =D
