I'm using Notyfy for a while already and love how it solves one task very well: Staying updated on websites that I don't like to open much, like Facebook. That way I still get notifications about birthdays without loading all of Facebook with all it's distractions.

How does it help in the case that erratasec.com listed? If you use your own domain couldn't you just lookup the domain in the dump and then they'd get the "secret" part of the email? You'd just have to get some of the bigger dumps that aggregate smaller dumps and then not much would change.

I'm following the repository since I saw it on HN a while ago. Pretty excited to see the quick progress so far and always great to have one more privacy focused analytics alternative out there. The closest competitor I know (and using right now) is probably https://get.gaug.es (They also have a very slick design once you log in, the landing page is outdated) which is cheaper but not open source...
