My approach: 1) Build cool, new products that solve relatable problems and give people joy. 2) Think 5 years ahead but build what is practical for today. 3) Avoid tech bubble "group think". Don't build just for yourself or your friends. 4) Simple is always better. 5) Do right by your stakeholders and good things will come.
