About
I’m a developer who loves the creative process—taking an idea and building it into something real. I've been at this since 1988 when I served in the military as a journalist. The job was only mildly related to journalism, but the military puts you where they need you. In that same spirit, they needed someone to do backups on their PDP 11-44 mini. I jumped at the chance. I discovered the computer was "intelligent"—it replied to my input and that blew my mind! Keep in mind, this was 1987. I immediately wanted to know more, which led to two years of night school while working full-time days. I've been programming ever since. My first truly personal project is TabNook, an AI-powered personal dashboard. I created it because I needed it, and I'm hoping others will too.
