Hi there! My name is Sydney, and I'm the Chief Research Officer at SoundMind (a music therapy platform centered on mental health and wellness). As a graduate of Johns Hopkins University as current Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, I have a strong passion for research, scientific literacy and communication, and education. An engineer and research scientist by trade, I try and approach mental health with an engineer's mindset: logical, thorough, and compassionate. At SoundMind, I direct all of our clinical testing and mental health research for the product. If you ask me, I'm the scientific voice of all things SoundMind.
