Had an opportunity to speak with @danielzarick recently about the platform, and as someone who has helped countless B2B SaaS companies solve the onboarding problem, Arrows is a breath of fresh air. Honestly, when is the last time you opened an onboarding email with "step by step" instructions in one screen and the app in the other, then completed the instructions? 2015? Never? Email is for...

Userlist is built by founders who listen. Each feature is released with the utmost care and consideration — as if your business depends on it. This is a huge leap forward for a product SaaS teams were already crazy for. Highly recommend!

What's your workflow and timeline like from "This trend looks interesting" to newsletter hitting the inbox? (I wouldn't expect you to share every nitty gritty detail — just the major steps. Cheers.

I’ve had the good fortune of working with the Hugo team and can say this about them... They are OBSESSED with getting to know their customers in order to serve them better. Always adding new capabilities and integrations. Always improving the UX. Always listening. When doing customer interviews, different people liked different features but the team emerged as the thing everyone loved....

I had the pleasure of writing some copy for App Institute. While I'm not their target market (busy small business owners), I can say that their team is on the ball when it comes to customer support/success. I even created a fake account while writing copy to test whether their support team was as helpful and responsive as they claimed (they totally were). The technology takes centre stage, but...

Looks like a really solid addition to the DIY design market with super simple pricing to boot. Limited use for free... or all the bells and whistles for a measly $10/month. It's always refreshing to see a SaaS company that doesn't get in their own way with a ludicrous pricing table. :) Good luck!

The bit about determining what success means to you is huge. If you don't do that, it's easy to fool yourself into working non-stop to make as much money as possible. I was forced to think about this during the summer. I started my freelance copywriting business right after Microconf (@kaidavis you were at my lunch table haha). I started making good money while still at my job (more than I was...
