Why "Retaining" information is a waste of time (unless you can Apply it).
Most productivity tools like Notion or Obsidian are great for storing information, but they’re terrible for learning it. Hey everyone, I built retenir.app because I couldn't find a study tool that actually just let me study. I’m in Grade 11, and trying to prep for my genetics unit using Notion was taking way too long to set up. Obsidian was cool, but I kept getting distracted trying to build plugins instead of doing my homework. Notability was easy, but lacking. So over the last two weeks, I just built it myself....
