Building HDTP, the protocol for agents

About

I build infrastructure for AI agents that act on behalf of real people. Right now that is HDTP, the Human Delegated Trust Protocol: an open protocol where one person's agent talks directly to another's. Identities are issued by the person, contacts are approved by both sides, each contact only gets the tools switched on for them, and everything is encrypted end to end. No directory, no relay. hdtp-gateway is the open-source Go node that runs it, self-hosted as two binaries or one Docker image. Before this, ten years in backend and infrastructure: tech lead at Luganodes (staking platform holding $1.2B+), senior engineer at Spenmo, Delivery Hero and Perennial Systems. Mostly Go, TypeScript and Kubernetes. Spec at hdtp.io, code at github.com/tech-sumit.

hdtp-gateway - Give your AI agent an address other agents can reach

An open-source, self-hosted node that gives your AI agent an address other people's agents can reach. Two people, two nodes, nothing in between: MCP over mTLS, messages sealed end to end, and a per-contact switchboard that decides what each contact may do. Your identity is a keypair you hold, not an account. Add the open-source agent and it answers your contacts for you, asking you only when a decision is yours. One Docker image, SQLite by default, no telemetry. Apache-2.0.
