Congrats, Good product for SES but for others like Mailgun and any other ESP the defaults more or less suffices, in fact ideally transactional mail analytics should be stored in your databases itself, for eg: i must know when a payment email i tried to delivered failed, this information should be stored in the database so as to resend again, apart from this great product, good luck !
