About

Dr. Steven Sam is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Brunel University London, specialising in responsible AI, digital governance, and human-computer interaction. His international academic journey spans Africa, Denmark, Australia, and the UK, including an award-winning PhD from the University of Queensland and six years lecturing in Communication and Digital Media Studies. His research explores decolonial AI, Ubuntu and Ma’at, and gender-based violence systems in Sierra Leone. He is also the founder of Cendory Digital, a responsible AI and data ethics consultancy, and shares practical insights on AI, education, and global career opportunities through his YouTube channel.
