I don't think this is a case of anyone vs anything. This is just a part of any new industry finding its bearings. This is what disruption does. Progress creates the need for standards.

GPT is well designed as an excellent source of information, but it does not have emotional intelligence which needs to be build into any assessment of the role it is fulfilling.

It is like asking how will people get from A-B now we have invented the wheel. We will just get there faster and easier. Everything we have invented in the past has been to support human development. This is no different.
