What makes a Shopify app worth adding?

One question kept coming up while I was building StackFit: where should a merchant draw the line between a genuinely useful Shopify app and another subscription, dashboard and implementation job?

When you assess an app, what matters most?

  • Revenue opportunity

  • Time saved

  • Integration quality

  • Setup and maintenance work

  • Cost as the store grows

  • Something else entirely

I m particularly interested in apps that looked promising but were installed too early, or tools you later removed because they duplicated something already in the stack.
