It not only shares RS232 over network, but allows to see (and to work with) serial device in virtual machine. So, I may say that this is the best feature for me.

With the Virtual Serial Port Driver, I can create a virtual null-modem cable from COM1 to COM2. This way I am able to simulate the strings that the hardware would send to my program and test the functionality of my program.
