Neon is what Postgres should have always been. Serverless, branches for every PR, and a generous free tier that let me build and iterate without worrying about database costs. The cold start times are barely noticeable, and branching the database for testing is chef's kiss. If you're starting a new project in 2026 just use Neon. 🌟
Render made deployment a non-issue. Zero DevOps headaches, just push and it works. Auto-scaling, managed SSL, and a dashboard that actually makes sense, it let me focus on building the product instead of wrestling with infrastructure. If you're shipping a side project or startup, Render is the answer to "where do I host this?" 💜
Building on Slack has been incredible. Their API is well-documented, slash commands just work. When your users are already in Slack 8+ hours a day, meeting them there instead of asking them to open another tab is a superpower. Thanks for making it so easy to build where work actually happens. 🙌
