About

Former product manager (3 years, consumer internet), now a digital nomad on a permanent workation around East and Southeast Asia. Crossing borders monthly taught me how painful entry paperwork is: I've been held up at immigration for not knowing an entry policy, and a visa agency once got my details wrong and nearly derailed a trip. So I built visayes — check what your passport needs for 197 countries & territories, then autofill official entry forms in your own browser: you review everything and submit it yourself. Not an engineer by training — I ship by alternating between Claude Code and Codex, and I'm exploring how far AI agents can go in stitching cross-border travel planning into one product. Say hi if you're into travel tools or AI-assisted building.

I got held up at immigration for a rule I didn't know — visayes is live today

A few years ago I stood at an immigration counter and learned, from an officer, that I had misread an entry rule. Later a visa agency typed my details in wrong their typo, my problem and it nearly cost me the trip. Both times the information existed. It was just buried on a government site I never thought to open.

So I built visayes.

Every visa policy and entry guide is free to browse: what your passport needs for 197 countries and territories, each guide checked against the government portal itself, each page linking to the official source so you can confirm it without trusting me. The interactive map is just the fastest way in.

The other half is "visayes helper," a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) that fills in official entry forms Thailand Digital Arrival Card, SG Arrival Card, and MDAC today, more coming. You review every field and press submit yourself on the government site. Signing up gets you a free credit to try it on your own trip, and your passport details stay on your device I have no way to read them.

Team Claude Code or Codex ?

Hey guys,

i switched to codex recently because fable is not anymore included in the plans, and honestly gpt 5.6 Sol surprised me by his efficiency.
