Solo dev. Building INDXR.

About

I'm a solo developer from the Netherlands. I build INDXR: a transcription tool for people who need transcripts now and then. Interviews, lectures, podcasts, meetings, research calls, a voice memo you'd rather read. It doesn't stop at the transcript, and it doesn't fall over on a three-hour recording. There's a proper editor, a library with collections so the work doesn't disappear into your downloads folder, AI summaries, and exports in every format you'd actually reach for — including structured JSON built for RAG pipelines. Pricing is credits you buy once. They don't expire and there's nothing to cancel. I built it that way because every tool I tried wanted a monthly subscription for something I needed occasionally.

Building a full product with one founder and a team of AI agents

I am building Rewire, a trading-psychology drill app, and the build is one person plus a set of AI agents with defined roles: a frontend one, a backend one, a QA one that walks the whole user journey, a perf one, and a few for marketing research and drafting.

What I spend my time on: writing the trading logic, designing the scenarios, and making the judgement calls about what a disciplined trader actually does in a given spot. The agents turn that into working code, tests, and a changelog, usually by the afternoon. I review every scenario and every deploy.

What changed for me: a build day used to end with a plan for tomorrow. Now it ends with something shipped. The tradeoff is that the agents are literal, so the specs have to be tight or you get exactly the wrong thing built well.

Two things I am still working out:

for People who use scrapers a lot, what are the most common pain points?

recently i was checking out the scraper services and it seemed like easy to build at first but when i thought about scaling it, that's when it got really difficult.
still i wanted to know the opinions of the people who use the scraper services and what services do they use commonly in general and their pain point, that way i will just focus on those points and try to build the first iterations.
really appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

Entering a market where everyone else has a bigger bag

Hi everybody, nice to meet you all.

I'm Sinbad, solo dev from the Netherlands. This is my first post here.

I would like to pick your brains on something I think (at least some of) you have encountered. I'm running search ads with a 1.80 euro cap and I'm paying close to that per click. To make that back I need a meaningful share of clicks to convert to paid, and that is not happening enough right now. Which is fine and as expected when starting out.
