Hi, I'm simotunes — building nohmitaina from Tokyo. nohmitaina is a desktop editor for thinkers. It auto-extracts concepts from what you write and builds a wiki of how your ideas relate. Inspired by Andrej Karpathy's LLM-wiki idea, implemented as an editor (because the place you write and the place your knowledge lives should be the same place). I built it for myself — I write every day but my notes never accumulated into actual thinking. After a month of using it daily, the wiki started to feel like thinking instead of piling. Works with Claude Code or Codex CLI (no API key needed), local-first, Markdown, macOS. Free. Background: ex-IBM software engineer, now indie maker.
