I built a browser video editor for tutorials — what features matter most to you?

Hi everyone,

I ve been working on RookieClip, a browser-based video editor focused on tutorial and screen recording videos.

I started building it because many tools I tried were either too complex or too expensive for simple edits. My goal was to create something lightweight that runs directly in the browser.

Right now it supports things like:
zoom effects for screen recordings
transitions and text effects
multi-track timeline editing
dedicated tracks for videos, images, audio, and text
drag, resize, and style elements easily

RookieClip - Video editor with zoom effects and multi-track timeline

RookieClip is a browser-based video editor. Add zoom effects, transitions, text overlays, and organize media in a flexible multi-track timeline for videos, images, audio, and text. Drag, resize, and style elements easily — all directly in your browser.

I built a browser-based alternative to Focusee and Screen Studio— looking for feedback from creators

Hi everyone,

I ve been making coding tutorials and demo videos, and most tools I tried (like Focusee) were great but a bit expensive for what I needed.

So I started building a small browser-based editor called RookieClip.

The idea is to make editing simple screen recordings easier especially for dev tutorials and product demos.
