Pen and paper! I tried all sorts of digital tools to keep track of time. However, I realized that the mere process of opening those applications took my attention away and lead to further distraction. Now I use a good old diary and pen to keep track of my time, write down my thoughts and plan things out

Talk to your users and listen to them! A lot of startups seem to ignore the fact that they should be solving a real problem, not some abstract one. If you have users talk to them and try to listen to what they are saying. Ask why they are using your product, and what about your product they dislike the most. Don't use these interview to validate your idea, use them to listen to what your users...

I always used to read a lot of books on startups. However, now that I am working on a startup full-time, I mostly read non-fiction. It helps me to distract myself from all the work and shift my focus. Although it is helpful to learn about building a startup, it is also very important to let your mind relax and think about other things in life. This really helps me to prevent burnout)
